Watch the video first:
1. Starting position: First I want to go over the position of your hands, they should be vertical. Second, you have to make sure that you’re going through the full range of motion, so align your hands at the shoulders line, make sure that your elbow joints aren’t locked.

2. Ending position: The dumbbells have to be less than 90 degrees above your chest, that means that you will have to stop the movement while your arms are between 60-70 degrees, make sure you’re not exceeding that or else you risk taking a coffee brake, also notice that you should prevent from bending your elbows too much, just keep them slightly bent.

3.During the exercise: Position the bench between 15 to 45 degrees, if the bench is fully adjustable make sure you raise the lower part of it in a sharp angle to prevent your lower back from arching, the course in which your arms moves should be from the side through your upper chest, go through the all range of motion and keep your elbows slightly bent.
Safety tip: Keep your head on the bench and don’t lean it forward, you can also take a step or a small chair and lay your legs on it to prevent arching of the lower back.
